Above all a mother inspired by her daughters
Above all, Katja is the proud mother of two remarkable daughters who have profoundly influenced her research and keynotes. From a young age, they made it clear that their world was different from hers, presenting daily challenges that encouraged her to evolve and stay attuned to the present rather than becoming a parent stuck in the past.
Now young adults, her daughters continue to inspire her to embrace the future with an open mind, unbound by the limitations of the world she once knew. Together, they share a deep interest in the convergence of art and science, the theme of consilience that frequently resonates in Katja’s work.
