What makes Katja unique

She works where human wisdom and artificial intelligence meet to build mindsets, frameworks, and applications that turn disruption and uncertainty into progress.

➡ Katja’s work is supported by original models and concepts, including Learning Mindset, Liminal Leadership, Cognitive Learning Ecosystems and The Paradigm of Learning Moments. These are grounded in years of international practice and research.

➡ All her work is complemented by the Learning Mindset & Liminal Leadership Amplifier, a diagnostic tool for which she also developed the underlying algorithm. It combines global data with tailored insights for events, workshops and advisory work.

➡ Her rich foundation allows her to tailor every keynote and advisory engagement to a very diverse audience and context, connecting human competencies such as curiosity, imagination, openness, empathy, resilience and consilience with the uncertainty of perpetual liminal times.

Through Habit of Improvement and The Learning Mindset Organisation, Katja advises multinational organisations, governments, and leadership teams worldwide, translating complex technological and organisational challenges into practical strategies.

Grounded Across Disciplines

Her grounding is more technical than the field norm. Behind the human-centred perspective is a degree in Applied Economics, an MBA from Antwerp Management School and MIT Sloan executive certifications, including Learning Technologies and Algorithmic Business Thinking.

Her formal education is matched by a never-ending pursuit of practical wisdom and knowledge ranging from philosophy to cognitive architectures. Combined with her expertise in the psychology of sales, behavioural science and leadership development, this breadth allows her to move comfortably between how people think and decide, how organisations function, and the technologies reshaping both.

Our Shared Responsibility.

Katja is also deeply committed to social impact. Over the years, her work has reached more than 15,000 children. Today, she personally visits children around the world growing up in some of the most challenging circumstances, exploring how human competencies can help them learn, adapt, and engage with technology in ways that strengthen their future opportunities. Her work connects these experiences with the UN SDGs and with her broader belief that learning should be available to help every child navigate an increasingly complex world.

The insights Katja gains through her philanthropic work also shape her keynotes, helping audiences better understand different realities and expectations across generations. Booking Katja also extends beyond the stage, as part of her speaking fee contributes directly to the social projects she supports.

Above all a mother inspired by her daughters

Above all, Katja is the proud mother of two remarkable daughters who have profoundly influenced her research and keynotes. From a young age, they made it clear that their world was different from hers, presenting daily challenges that encouraged her to evolve and stay attuned to the present rather than becoming a parent stuck in the past.

Now, her young adult daughters continue to inspire her to embrace the future with an open mind, unbound by the limitations of the world she once knew. Together, they share a deep interest in the convergence of art and science, the theme of consilience
